Somerset Valance |

This style is similar in design to the Flat Valance; however, the rounded edges give it a softer look.

Wider valances have seams where two or more cuts of fabric are joined together. If this occurs, the valance is made with a center panel and two side panels, for the best visual effect. Special care is taken to match patterns so that the seams interrupt the design as little as possible.

Center point is 3 ½" lower than the sides.

Available heights: 8", 12", 16", and 20" (to center point)

This treatment is appropriate for any fabric except sheers. It is particularly suitable for fabrics with large patterns, since the fabric is flat with no folds or fullness.

Mounting options: tack strip, VELCRO™ strip, rod pocket, or pre-mounted on a covered mounting board.
